The SATs are given on a Saturday and are not offered at Northeast Metro but can be taken at many area schools.
The test fee is $49.00* payable at time of registration online at www.collegeboard.com.
A limited number of fee waivers are available for students who receive free or reduced lunch. These waivers are distributed on a first come basis.
All students are encouraged sophomore year to create a www.collegeboard.com account in the Career Center and to start utilizing the college research and free study materials on that site. The majority of our students already have an existing account which should streamline the process of registering for the tests. Parents should check with their students prior to opening a duplicate account. Test results are posted on-line and students can compare their scores to admissions requirements for individual schools.

* Please note that the $49.00 test fee includes having up to four (4) score reports sent to colleges at no additional cost to the student. This service is only offered during College Board’s “registration period” which is posted on their website. If students miss this deadline, it will cost them $10.00 to send a report to a college (this service is offered online through www.collegeboard.com).
