Dear Parents/Guardians,

It is that time of year where the Flu Season is among us. Please review the attached flyer to learn more about influenza and how to prevent and treat cases in your home.  Frequent hand washing is one of the most efficient methods in preventing illness. Please remember that if your child is ill, he/she should stay home to rest  to avoid giving the flu to other children or to caregivers. Keep your child home until at least 24 hours after their fever is gone, without using fever- reducing medications, like acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Motrin or Advil). A fever is defined as 100.4°F (38°C) or higher. For the most up-to-date information concerning influenza and additional resources, please visit the MDPH flu web site at or call 617-983-6800
Thank You,
