PROGRAM SUMMARY - GRAPHIC COMMUNICATIONS

The Graphic Communications program provides students with the fundamental skills needed for the mass production of promotional materials. Using Mac computers students are introduced to a variety of software programs such as QuarkXPress, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dream Weaver, Freehand, and Flash. This experience also serves as a solid background for those interested in learning web page design. principles of design and color, copy preparation, desktop publishing, Networked digital printing and color copying, illustration, offset plate making, camera work, film developing, offset printing and silk screening topics are covered.
