One skill/lesson youโve learned at Northeast that youโll take with you: Be patient. Skills come with time and practice and so will the good things that come to you. Work hard, not everything will be handed to you. And lastly, be kind because kindness brings you the farthest in life.
A person who has inspired you to be your best: Mrs. Santos, my shop teacher, because she has shown me that even on your bad days, it is still important to show up for those around you. She has also sprung on to me the idea of having a growth mindset, and never giving up even when Iโm feeling discouraged.
Favorite quote: โTime you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.โ - Marthe Troly-Curtin
Plans after graduation: I plan on attending a 2-year college for an Associateโs Degree while I work to build clientele. I will then pursue a real estate course to sell houses and do that on the side while I am in the field.

The Department of Elementary and Secondary Educationโs Office of Public School Monitoring (PSM) will conduct an Integrated Monitoring Review of Northeast Metro Tech during the week of December 14, 2026. Each school district, charter school, vocational school, and virtual school undergoes an Integrated Monitoring Review every three years. The areas addressed during an Integrated Monitoring Review are organized into two groups, known as Group A Universal Standards and Group B Universal Standards.ย ย
Northeast Metro Tech will be undergoing a Group A monitoring review, which focuses on special education student identification and special education eligibility timelines; Individualized Education Program (IEP) development; programming and support services; procedural requirements for suspensions and equal opportunity.
The process includes interviews with district staff and administrators, a review of student records, policies and procedures, and school building visits. The process may also include parent/caregiver, student and teacher focus group meetings to gather additional information. Interpretation will be provided, if needed.
The Department will also send a parent survey, in multiple languages and formats as needed, to parents/guardians of special education students to gather key information on the special education processes and procedures.
Parents/guardians and other stakeholders may reach Moses Nduati to request a telephone interview at moses.m.nduati@mass.gov. If anyone requires an accommodation, such as translation, to participate in an interview, the Department will make the necessary arrangements.

Northeast receives Title I funding from the U.S. Department of Education to support students in meeting high academic standards. In compliance with the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), Northeast has developed a School Title I Family Compact outlining the shared responsibilities of the school, families, and students in supporting student success.
-
Educators/Staff: Provide high-quality instruction aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and Career and Technical Education Frameworks, set clear classroom, shop, and school expectations, provide appropriate support, communicate student progress, and maintain a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment.
-
Parents/Guardians: Ensure regular attendance and punctuality, support assignments and learning activities, encourage a positive attitude toward learning, monitor academic progress, and communicate with the school when questions or concerns arise.
-
Students: Attend school regularly and arrive prepared to learn, complete assignments and responsibilities to the best of their ability, ask for help when needed, respect others, follow classroom, shop, and school expectations, and remain committed to learning and personal growth.
Together, we share responsibility for student achievement and for creating a school culture where every student can thrive.ย
At your earliest convenience, please review ourย Family Compactย and complete thisย questionnaire. Your support is greatly appreciated.ย

Student parking registration opened for members of the Senior Class on Wednesday, August 12. Grade 12 students who complete theย Student Parking Application Formย (using their Northeast email account) will be added to a registration list. Students in good standing, as approved by their dean, will be contacted in the order the form was submitted to purchase a parking sticker. We aim to make as many spaces available to students as possible.
Please note: The form must be completed using the student's Northeast email account. Students will be required to enter their driverโs license number, vehicle information (make, model, color, and year), and license plate number, and upload a copy of their valid Massachusetts driverโs license and vehicle registration.
Parking spaces reserved for students are located in the Student Parking Lot (seeย image). This is the same lot used last year. Access the lot by entering Hemlock Road near Wakefield High School and following the same route previously used to access the former Northeast building. The Student Parking Lot will be on your left, just past Landrigan Field.
All student vehicles parked on Northeast Metro Tech property must have a parking sticker properly displayed (affixed to the windshield above the inspection sticker on the passenger side). Detailed student parking information and expectations can be found by viewing thisย document.
|
The parking lot across from Landrigan Field (formerly J Lot) is exclusively for Wakefield Memorial High School students. Vehicles parked in this lot without a WMHS hanging placard are subject to towing per the Town of Wakefield.
In the Landrigan Field parking area, only marked spaces may be used. Parking in front of the field gate, within crosswalks, in marked fire lanes, or blocking entrances and exits are subject to ticketing or possible towing.
Parking on Hemlock Road, Farm Street, and surrounding neighborhood streets is allowed unless posted otherwise. Please be respectful by not blocking or partially blocking residential driveways.
All drivers are reminded to operate vehicles safely and remain under 15 mph while on school property.
